What is Sportyn?

Sportyn is an online hotspot for the digital activities of all athletes, designed to transform the future of player promotion and athlete-development funding using blockchain technology. It empowers athletes and their support teams to create share and promote personalized video clips of their game/event or practice session performance; all based on well-defined upload criteria.

Who can use Sportyn?

Scouts, agents, coaches, clubs and other sports people use Sportyn to perform efficient searches, discover and contact talented athletes in any sport, regardless of their age, gender or physical location. In addition, professional and amateur athletes take advantage of the app in educational purpose as well as to improve their own skills.

Video recording in one place

At Sportyn, we consider this to be the missing link in the world of online sports and entertainment apps. Video recording of training, matches - and great moves - has become an essential part of athletes promotion in a crowded market. That’s why we are offering a platform where everything is in one place.

Connection between athletes and third party

The issue of trying to find a relevant clip from a specific known (or unknown) athlete published on popular social media or anywhere else online; and the challenge of creating a connection between an athlete and an interested third party is almost impossible to overcome without Sportyn’s technology.

Using Artificial Intelligence

Sportyn uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to process every element of athletes’ performance ecosystem, create athlete’s unique sports ID and identify upcoming talents.

What is the max length of Sportyn video-clips?

The magic number is 30 seconds. However, upper limit for videos in Sportyn App is 60 seconds.

How do I create Sportyn account?

To create an Sportyn account from the app:

Download the Sportyn app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Once the app is installed, tap Sportyn icon to open it.
Tap Sign Up With Instagram or Create New Account, then enter your email address and tap Next. You can also tap Sign up with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
If you register with your email, create a username and password, fill out your profile info and then tap Done. If you register with Facebook, you'll be prompted to log into your Facebook account if you're currently logged out.

How Sportyn Feed works?

Sportyn Feed is a place where you can share and connect with the athletes. When you open Sportyn or refresh your feed, videos we think you care about most will appear towards the top of your feed. In addition to seeing content from athletes and hashtags you follow, you may also see suggested videos that are relevant to your interests.

How do I post video?

To upload a video or record a new one, first tap Plus icon at the bottom of the screen:

To upload a video from your phone's library, tap Library/Gallery at the bottom of the screen and select the video you'd like to share.
To record a new video, tap Video at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold Rec icon to start recording.

How do I delete a video?

On Home screen, find your video and press '…' dots and the option to Delete video will appear. Have in mind that you can only delete your own videos.

Quick access to your favorite videos

From Home screen, at the top of the application, you can enter to "Bookmarks" of your videos. All your favorite videos will be stored under "Bookmarks".

Rate video

On fullscreen video, every user can Rate video he or she is watching. With a simple click on the "Rate" button, animation with "Points" counter will appear. Choose between 1 – 5 points.

After rating the video "Statistic graph" will appear. Click on and check the Rating of the video you are currently watching. Besides seeing who saw your video, it is possible to see how many Scouts/Agents saw your video clip.

Note: For seeing Scouts/Agents you need PRO account.

Favorites

On Home screen, easily save your Athletes, Athletes you are fan off or Publishers with cool videos.

Reporting inappropriate content

You can report abuse, spam, or anything else that doesn't follow our Guideline within the app.

Report a video
On HOME screen click on '…' dots and "Report" to report a video.
Report a problem
Go to your Profile account and tap Settings
Under Help & Support click on Report a problem
Describe the problem and report it.

What I can do if I forgot my password?

If you can't remember your password, you can reset it using your email address.
Resetting your password using your email address.
To reset your password, first open the Sportyn app. On the login screen, tap Sign in here, from there: tap Forgot password? Enter your email and press Submit.

I think my Sportyn account has been hacked.

If you think your account has been hacked or taken over, there are actions you can take to secure your account. Check your email account for a message from Sportyn.
If you received an email from Sportyn letting you know that your email address was changed, you may be able to undo this by using the revert this change option in that message. If additional information was also changed, and you're unable to change back your email address, please report the account to us.

I can't log in to my account

Under your phone Settings, go to App information and clean your cache.

If that doesn't help, you can clean your cache and data.

If you can't log in to your Sportyn profile we suggest retrieving your account by clicking on "Forgot password".

I didn't receive a confirmation email

We suggest to try "Resend confirmation email" option. If that doesn't help please contact us on support@sportyn.com, write us your Username and email.

Where are my account settings?

To get to your account settings:

Go to your profile
Tap Settings icon

How do I Log out from Sportyn account?

To log out from your account:

What is verified badge?

A verified badge is a check that appears next to an Sportyn account's name in search and on the profile. It means Sportyn has confirmed that an account is the authentic presence of the public figure, celebrity or global brand it represents.

How do I edit my profile?

Simply click on Profile settings, and under your profile picture tap "Pen symbol".

Edit your information such as Full Name, Club or Organization, Occupation or Country.

Tap on your Avatar to change your profile picture.

Profile Authorization

Public athlete (Professional), Scout, Agent or Coach can request profile authorization on Sportyn app.

All Professionals can get verified (badge) accounts to separate them between Athletes and users with the same name.

For Profile Authorization please contact us on authorization@sportyn.com

I would like to delete Athlete profile from my account.

It's easy, all you have to do is go to Profile, under your profile settings you will find Athletes and just swipe from right to the left of the choosen Athlete and your Athlete will be removed.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in USA for the resolution of any disputes.

We reserve the right to destroy sportyn STYN tokens that we have reason to believe have not been created by verified content creation and to suspend or disable any sportyn account used in such a way. We reserve the right to destroy or redistribute sportyn STYN token that we have reason to believe have been obtained through fraud, for instance by defrauding another sportyn user, and to suspend or disable any sportyn account used in such a way.

We reserve the right and retain the absolute discretion to determine and alter, from time to time, the eligible forms of content creation, video verification algorithms and amounts of verified videos that must be undertaken by users in order to generate STYN token using the App (for example, we may alter the number of verified videos required to generate a STYN).

Details of current eligibility criteria and the volumes of verified videos required to generate STYN are provided within the the App. Video verification conducted by the App is considered final and cannot be revised or reversed.

We may cap the maximum amount of STYN tokens that users of the App may generate each day using the App. The applicable cap may vary depending upon the membership level of the relevant user or other criteria that we chose to apply and we may increase or decrease such caps from time to time.

Different membership levels may apply to the STYN accounts of different users and, depending on the membership level you hold, your entitlement to access functionality of the App or generate STYN tokens may vary.

The App allows you to send your sportyn STYN tokens to other users of the App. Please ensure that you have verified the identity of the recipient of the relevant STYN tokens before sending them.
